While tweaking around in the 'Manage 3D Settings' and in the 'Global Settings', I wanted to play around with some of the options, like change my performance mode to single display vs multiple display. When I apply the settings, an error message comes up saying, 'Access Denied. Failed to apply selected settings to your system'. Does anyone know why that is?!
When I bring up the nVidia control panel, it doesn't have any of the Hennes
color controls like brightness and contrast. The help file says I should select 'Display' from the initial 'Select a Category' page, but the only thing I get for 'Display' is 'Multiple Displays'. Except for that, it's an empty page. And I only have one display, so that doesn't do anything either. This is a Presario SR2002X, originally with XP. The Vista upgrade DVD had an option to either upgrade XP or install Vista clean. I did a clean install. I also went to hp.com and downloaded the latest nVidia GeForce driver, version 7.15.10.9734, and installed it. So, what's happened to the color controls? Is there some way to get them working? Thanks, Wee Willie

I haven't experienced this problem, but there are several possible solutions in this reddit thread:https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/37j056/nvidia_control_panel_access_denied_failed_to/

In my case, where I have a notebook with NVIDIA Optimus, I wasn't able to change some configurations until I pressed the 'VGA Button' which effectively 'turns on' the Nvidia card.

The option 'HDR and advanced color' under Settings > System > Display is available for my display. When I click the toggle to turn it on, the screen flashes black and the 'Keep these display settings?' ribbon shows up with a 15 second countdown. But, behind the ribbon, the On/Off toggle automatically switches back to the 'Off' position, and there seems to be no effect resulting from the toggle.
I have went through the steps here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4040263/windows-10-hdr-advanced-color-settings
I noticed that, in my dxdiag, the 'AdvancedColorEnabled' flag is not present on the 'Monitor Advanced Color Capabilities' line. I am assuming the 'HDR and advanced color' toggle is what is supposed to enable that flag. Is there any way to force this flag to be on, or is there a fix/registry edit that will allow me to toggle the setting on? Air traffic control game for pc free download.

Hi LSSolomon,
1. Have you recently done any changes to the computer?
2. Have you done any changes to the theme settings on the desktop? If you have calibration enabled for display then you may disable calibration loading by Windows. You must be logged on with a user account that has administrative privileges to make the below changes -
1. Open Color Management by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type color management, and then click Color Management.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and click Change system defaults. 3. Click the Advanced tab in the Color Management - System Defaults dialog box, and do one of the following: - To prevent Windows from loading display calibrations, clear the Use Windows display calibration check box.
4. Click Close in the Color Management - System Defaults dialog box.
5. Click Close in the Color Management dialog box.

The color settings in a Windows computer certainly matters a lot especially when it comes to printing pictures. Users who are found or edit photos for a living change their computer’s color settings in order to ensure that the printout looks like the actual colors.
